Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Manager / Lead – IT Infrastructure to oversee andmanage the entire IT infrastructure ecosystem across our multi-location operation spanning 500+ sites. Theideal candidate will lead a team of infrastructure engineers, take ownership of end-to-end server, network,storage, security, and cloud operations, and ensure 100% service coverage and uptime across alltechnology domains. This is a leadership role that demands deep technical expertise, strong people-management skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management & Operations
- Lead end-to-end management, support, monitoring, patching, backup, and redundancy for all virtualand physical servers (VMware, Windows Server, database, and application servers) across all tiers.
- Manage enterprise storage (Pure Storage), Veeam backup/replication, and disaster recovery (Zerto,DRaaS) including testing and documentation.
- Administer and optimize network infrastructure including Fortinet firewalls, F5 load balancers,Cloudflare DNS/CDN, and Cato SASE/VPN solutions.
Identity, Security & Cloud Services
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), including useronboarding/offboarding and license management.
- Oversee IAM (MFA, SSO via PingID, PAM, RBAC), endpoint security (CrowdStrike, LogicMonitor,NinjaOne), and cloud services (Egnyte, Keeper, IT Glue).
Automation, Monitoring & Compliance
- Implement and maintain automated workflows, active monitoring, and alerting across the infrastructurestack.
- Manage web servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx), middleware/integration services, API gateways, APM,synthetic monitoring, and log management.
- Maintain documentation and support compliance and audit requirements across all infrastructuredomains.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, providing technical guidance,performance management, and career development.
- Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for IT Operations, acting as central liaison for incidentmanagement and service coordination.
- Manage relationships with key technology partners and third-party consultants (Paragon, GTR TEK,Packet Llama, FPR) and datacenter/bandwidth providers (PhoenixNAP, Databank, Lumen, Cogent).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3–5 years in aleadership or team-lead capacity.
- Strong hands-on expertise with VMware virtualization, Windows Server administration, and enterprisestorage (Pure Storage or equivalent).
- Deep knowledge of networking (Fortinet, F5, Cloudflare, Cato), Microsoft 365, Active Directory, andidentity management (PingID, PAM).
- Solid background in backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Zerto), endpoint security (CrowdStrike), andmonitoring tools (LogicMonitor, NinjaOne).
- Familiarity with SQL Server, StarRocks, or similar database platforms in production environments.
- Experience managing infrastructure across multi-location, distributed enterprise environments (500+sites preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE, ITIL,or equivalent.
- Experience with asset management (Asset Panda), helpdesk (Zendesk), contact center (Nextiva), and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Schedule & Availability
This role requires flexibility in scheduling. The candidate must be willing and available to work on weekends,after-hours, and during maintenance windows for critical patching, upgrades, firmware updates, andemergency incident response. Planned weekend work for infrastructure patching and change managementis a regular part of the role, and the candidate will be expected to coordinate and participate in theseactivities alongside the engineering team.
